Jude Bellingham

As confident as anyone can be in November ;)

He seems to be a level-headed lad, however.
Yep with his maturity he will understand city is the best place for him. Not to mention how open our midfield is just about to be in terms of Bernardo and gundogan going. Liverpool is about to go through a major rebuild with uncertain ownership and vision coming up.

And as attractive as Madrid is I think Bellingham being English will want the premier league more considering he has never played there

He's coming home.

£300k plus a week.

Gundo and Bernie wages will cover it, no doubt.
Sad to see those two leave if they go but its a perfect evolution of the squad and exactly what keeps us where we are. We don't stand still and Bellingham, Foden and Haaland give us something long term and quite simply breathtaking in what that will look like.

Either Grealish/Foden go central next season and we get in a Leao/Mudryk/Gakpo(just examples) or we keep our winger options in Foden/Grealish and get in a midfielder like Enzo as well.

No way we lose them two and not replace them man for man, but seeing how the fullback situation has been the past few years, it wouldn't surprise me.

A shame if Bernie departs but i suspect this lad will be a phenomenon in this team, and the formers departure will also allow scope to bring in a different sort of midfielder/attacker hopefully i the shape of a much missed winger.

I think it's always worth reiterating that until everything is signed and sealed, things can change but if (and I'm not doubting your word by saying "if") he has said "yes", why would he change his mind, given that we have to be the best club he could join next summer? Pep announcing that he isn't staying might be a reason. Other shit can happen too.

I was told long before the end of the season by a very good source Grealish was joining, and he did.

Back in Pearce's day I was told well before the season's end that we would buy Djbril Cisse by a different but very good source. And, I think we would have if Pearce hadn't got the sack and...

I hope we do get Bellingham. I think Bernie will finally get his move to Barca and. whilst, it will change us a bit, again, Bellingham gives us a good chance of not dropping off at all.

He is clearly an exceptional talent, but the acclaim for his appearance against Iran is too much, IMO. Yes, it is the opening game of the biggest tournament in the game, but Iran are not a competitive team.
In terms of Bernie and Gundo leaving, it will be the end of an exceptional era but also the beginning of a new one, with Bellingham, Grealish, Foden, Rodri, Philips and KDB making a new, exciting midfield. I suspect Mahrez will go soon and Palmer, Mebude and Borges may well come in to occupy those wider areas. That is as dynamic as it gets, with Alvarez and Haaland making a truly exceptional group.

Where are Iran in the ratings?

At the minute, with the exception of completely normal patriotism regarding the World Cup, all the hype will be generated as he is so obviously hunted by the Red genital warts of English football from Mersey.

As soon as he will sign with us, watch the media turn on him.

He's going to be an extremely wealthy young man that much is clear.

I choose to believe he will consider the footballing and coaching aspects of his next move very
carefully, over the pure bank balance result. If he asks anyone at Dortmund, I'm sure Klopp will get some glowing endorsements there.

Who knows really, none of here can truthfully say elite footballers would dismiss current Man City out of hand
but Liverpool are no mugs either.
He doesn't even need to consider a small club like Man City or Newcastle. He can spend the next 5-6 years at LFC, raise himself to the Ballon d'Or level while earning well, and then spend the next 5-6 years of his career at Real Madrid ...

Aside from being the normal delusional cultish self, what makes Liverpool fans confident he is coming to Liverpool -
Kloop relationship with Dortmund ?
TAA his best bud ?

Or we can just assume delusion and move on!

Hope we can still keep Bernardo, he's such a key player for us. Bellingham is a replacement for Gundogan in my opinion and although he can still do a job for us, I don't think him going in the summer is a huge disappointment.
Would love to keep Bernardo but Bellingham would be a great replacement. When Bernardo doesn't play, the one thing we miss is energy in midfield, especially in getting the ball back. Hopefully Phillips can provide some of that once we see him but Bellingham is a level up and, from the bits I've seen for England and Dortmund would be ideal for us (or about 10 other top sides across Europe).

When we get him the meltdown on there is going to be hilarious.
