Sure I read a piece last week, saying they were not in for any new attackers. Mbappe is interesting tho, he seems ideal for them (who else would/could take him), but surely there's an overlap with Vinicius.

On May 3 he tweeted 'Personal terms are almost agreed' now he is saying that 'Bellingham has accepted all the details of Real Madrid contract proposal already 10 days ago' which would be May 1 which is two days before terms were almost agreed. It is well known that clubs, agents and probably the players themselves use Romano because of the platform he has. Definitely possible the Bellingham camp has someone getting Romano to keep the hype going.

The whole point of Madrid leaking all of this “agreement” is to get us to move on so they can lowball Dortmund.

If City decide that he’s not really interested in moving to us then they’ll move on. It won’t happen because Marca, Diario A or Romano say he wants to go to Madrid.

The best thing for Manchester City is there are plenty of options for others in that midfield role in the market, Yes Jude is the first choice but Rodri is still young and anybody else to partner him up with will have an easy job in that city midfield,

Maybe Phillips will be given a chance in the Gundogan role next season and it works out fine for him. Also, we have Foden or Silva and maybe grealish who can play there as well so no panic if we don't get Jude.
