This is his positions played according to Transfermarkt. I'm not sure how they gauged it, but watching Phil over the season, I think it's fairly accurate.

Note Foden's G/A per game in the middle compared to anywhere else, but his hat trick against Brentford did indeed come when he was playing on the left.

Under Pep though Phil never plays very wide on the left or right because he always comes inside. The England formation needs a proper left winger who pushes for the bye line. This is not Phil’s game at all.

the thing is, uefa commity investigated his defence for 5 days, while the other player's defence was only investigated for 3 hours to come to a decision :))))
