Jude Bellingham

Pogba was far superior in his abilities. He was the complete package

Pogba at Juventus and for France was very good. Far more ability than Bellingham. Moving to the rags killed him and his attitude.

Bellingham isn't anything special in his ability. He's got a winners mentality, I'll give him that. He never phones it in either. Problem is that it goes to far the other way and we wants it all about himself.

Self belief is good, being a cock isn't.

People say Ibrahimovic was arrogant. Maybe, but he was smart too and it was done with some sort of self awareness...plus he was still a team player on the field.

Bellingham isn't in that league when it comes to ability and seems to lack the self awareness that he comes across like an arrogant cock. Probably because the media keep sucking him off.

He can't do the off the ball work required though. If we want to be a high-energy pressing side Kane is a weak link which makes the whole system fall down. We used to have a lethal striker called Aguero who didn't like to do too much off the ball. Pep didn't play him as a result. The team comes before the individual. If we play Kane, we have to play a different way.
Did you just use high-energy pressing and England in the same sentence?

Besides, Kane does alright for a high-energy, pressing team under Kompany. England’s problems run deeper than Kane. Keep him in there, and he will keep scoring. Ivan Toney is fucking wank anyway.

Bayern are a side that should be challenging for the CL, Kane is a weak link in any side that wants to press. Tuchel has talked about the lack of energy, which is common at international level. If you want to play that way, Kane isn't the man to do it.

If Kane plays then our whole defensive structure needs to change.

In the Euro's we had Bellingham, Foden, Saka looking to press the ball high up the pitch and then just looking in disbelief as the spare man that Kane had left completely unmarked received the ball. A complete waste of effort and energy.

Weird when haaland doesn’t press for us either. Superstar strikers barely press anyways . Only ones who did were Villa, Suarez and Cavani.
It’s also a reason why Enrique turned his back on pure 9‘s and started to use a false 9 again for more fluidity and better press.

Haaland does press for us if that's the system we are operating. It doesn't have to be an all out sprint but he closes down the opposition and prevents an easy outball.

Kane did fuck all in the Euro's. He got nowhere near the opposition and considering the rest of our midfield was looking to press on the front foot it was leaving us completely open.

Anyway, this is about Bellingham and he's a ****.

The truth sadly is he's an egomaniac.

He'd still have walked into our lineup with no problems last season but only because of how bad we were, he'd probably have done it with brass balls too while thinking he's the absolute dogs bollox..

He's somebody I thought would be absolutely world class not because of pure talent but rather his immense work rate early on, his positional intelligence for someone so young is what stood out more than anything else, his willingness to work very hard at the back one second then begin a lung bursting run forward the next was extremely impressive.

Nowadays he's abandoned his defensive work rate and strangely thinks he's some sort of playmaker trying to do tricks and flicks he's looking lazier, regardless of his goal contributions or any stats praising him he needs to get back to basics and be humble enough to put a proper top graft in.

If he does this he can be an absolute great midfielder of his era there's no doubt about it, if he doesn't he may end up having a Pogba type career just pure hype without ever improving, this is what I think is most likely he's become an absolute knob head his ego has taken over big time.

His ego has become that bad that if I was the England manager he wouldn't make the squad, despite only a few years ago thinking he'd be perfect here learning under Pep.

I think Real if they don't win anything over the next few years with Barca in Spain looking good, plus others in Europe too then he'll be booted out by Real due to his dickhead attitude which funnily enough they encouraged.

Even though he shows more effort than Pogba ever showed he's just regressed in effort big time, personally believe with his prior work rate Bellingham had the potential to be the best box to box midfielder in the world.

Instead he's too much of a snidey jumped up arrogant shite to ever become that.

For someone with such little ability it's a wonder how he was Bundesliga Player of the Season and league runner-up for Dortmund, joined Madrid breaking goal scoring records and played a vital role in helping them win the La Liga and Champions League and constantly winning trophies and individual awards.

He is an #8 pretending to be a #10 because it gives him more hype.

Didn't win anything with Dortmund really. Madrid got worse last season.

He had a good purple patch of goals when he joined Madrid but that dropped off after a few months.

He's a good player, not a great player, but he's treated like he's some amazing player. I just don't see it. I'm not saying he's bad by any means, far from it. The hype will die because he isn't anything special and it'll become evident over time, no matter how good his PR team is.

Now with that said, as much as I think he's a cock, I don't want the public and media to start a campaign of hate against him either, he's a young lad that needs to calm his ego a bit, that's all.

Some fair points and well said on your last sentence, I'd say its hard to fully predict how good he will or can be in the future, Its mad how good he has been and only 21 - he will for sure have some poor patches and can't live up to the hype and expectations every season but i feel optimistic he can be in the future a world class player if he is managed right.
