Right now, his body language feels very much like someone obsessed with personal glory. Maybe it's due to the media blowing so much smoke up his arse the last few months that he started believing his own hype.

Doesn't seem to see his England teammates as people there to help the team win, but there to help him get goals.

When the media are playing an advert with his name sang out before in the middle and at the end of a match it's no wonder he's gone full wanker, he was bad enough before it.

It'll be Mainoo next, Foden or Rice could score a hattrick in the final and the focus will probably still not be on them.
 
Finally a journalist saying what a lot of us are thinking. (Not convinced Mainoo is "The Answer" though.)
Even Ian Ladyman at the Mail has been sticking the boot into him today, although let himself down by twice declaring him as England's most talented player. Based on what ffs?!
