Jude Bellingham

I like Anderson, think he's excellent and should play. Rogers is good, but I don't think he's the class of Foden at all. I don't actually think Bellingham should be in the conversation for a starting place. Id ust use him as an impact sub if needed (although he'd no doubt stink the place out if he's not afforded special star status).
I'd use him as a punchbag

Tuchel is a much better manager than waistcoat face already.

Fans will soon turn dare we ever lose a match and whatever stage we get knocked out the majors - then it will be a tidal wave of analysis on ‘what went wrong’ , blaming the tactics and subs etc. before the inevitable being German abuse. For now though, all rosy and I like him alot.

MMMM you may be right but at least he seems to be his own man not swayed by the toffee noses at the FA. (Nothing to do with Everton @Toffeedude :-) )

Where did Southgate do that, if I recall one of his first acts was to drop Rooney, continually bring in players on form and make us one of the youngest squads/teams in major tournaments, Southgate era was great for the nation - if Tuchel can emulate the same then it’s happy days. England have been in a great place for many years now.

Corrected for you.

Most football fans won't care that much the day after we go out, as most are only really bothered about their own clubs.

The media however.....

*shakes head at the delusion (or the wummery).

Oh sorry, it’s all been so awful.
We've had some of the best players in the world though, managed by someone who thought he'd try and emulate Pep in qualifiers, then realised he'd better off emulating Allardyce when we got anywhere near a decent team.

At least Tuchel gives it a go, and some his games have also been tedious, against some of the poorest teams in europe, and yes there have been some performances as well.

Most international matches are slow and boring, always have been, always will be bar the odd exception, We’re just expected to roll teams over comfortably and when it doesn’t happen there’s outrage and when we do there’s just a shrug of the shoulders.

Ha ha ha He bored us stiff and lost two great opportunities to win a tournament with the easiest possible route thereby underachieving and got a knighthood for failure

I'm more of a half glass full type of guy, England reached Semi Final/Finals, Southgate bought cohesion and unity to the squad, a feel good factor for the country all with a bunch of youngsters.
