The sooner he moves the better our chances, IMO.
At the moment, Barca, Real, Bayern, Chelsea are all chock full of central attacking midfielders. We still really just have Silva and Nasri, with Jovetic able to play there.

Nasri, of course. Come summer he'll have been here 3 seasons which sounds about right. Even then, Silva will be, what, 28 then? It will be time for a new #10.

wish we could have got Draxler he is a cracking player but he has said that he would only ever think about moving to another German club

You need ready-made replacements just as your current ones are in their prime. Next season will be yet another one in which Silva has no complete off-season. He's played 200 times for us and Spain since he's joined.

In the article above he said he'd never join BVB so that means he's a coward and would join Bayern. Plenty of options abroad.
