Respect Klopp but want Pellegrini.

Just is a better fit for us and our club stEdit: he would have been a fantastic fit for United and we should rejoice that they did not get him.ructure.

I would take Klopp over every other manager on the planet.
This. Not only tactically astute, but his players love to play for him. Just sad that it probably wont ever happen.

I wouldn't assume that. MP is an excellent manager, and he'll do well at City, but I'm sure Klopp will still be a very attractive candidate, and City will still be a top club a few years from now, so why not?

THAT is who he looks like...MATT fucking STONE.

I was thinking a young Jeremy irons but Matt stone is much more enjoyable

klopp would be a top manager for city ,he ticks all the right boxes ,he young ,got a great attacking mind and can certainly pick out and motivate young talent ,he seem a players manager ,getting the best out of his team ,and managing the game with a smile on his face ,cant see him coming this season ,he seems to be staying put at dortmond ,so if not now hes certainly one for the future

Still think Rafa is the man for the job. Remember, Klopp was at Mainz for a long time, he's not one to go in and out of jobs. Plus I bet he can't wait to test himself against Guardiola next season. He won't be leaving this season.

Plus I don't like this talk of Pep taking over in three years, 3 months is a long time in football. Don't think we should be hiring people just because another manager might be available in 2016.

He's way too pragmatic for me. Do you really want to watch that boring football?

Would love to see Klopp at City. Fiercely proud of his teams, has a great bond with supporters, and above all trains teams to play great football. And given how good he has been at nurturing young talent at Dortmund, would definitely be a manager I can see building up a strong, young team, rather than having to buy established stars.

Just look at how they've played in the Champions League this season. Great football to watch. Pacy, aggressive. Would fit right in in the EPL and also clearly works in Europe. Saw them demolish Bayern in last year's German cup final and they were awesome. Not sure whether he'd come, but would love to welcome him here.

Would be great to see Klopp here just to see if he brings one of those crazy football machine things they have at Dortmund.

Wanted to resurrect this thread as he seems a real character; wouldn't mind him as next City manager after the blandness of Señor Pelly

I too would like klopp at city. Things have maybe just gone stale for him at Dortmund now but he is always good fun and always seems to be encouraging his players on the touchline etc. Hopefully if we went for klopp he might bring reus and gundogan with him as well!

Meaning what exactly. His manner or his footballing "blandness" ! Some fuckers are never satisfied !!!

Meaning someone with more of an engaging personality!

I have no qualms with his football or his preference for two up front, it's not like we;re in the bottom half of the table! It's purely a personal point of view, but if he was to leave tomorrow i wouldn't bat an eyelid whereas i did with Mancini and also Hughes and even Pearce to a certain extent (but not Sven!). I don't think that Pelly puts across his passion for the club and his ambitions for the club very well and i rarely sit and watch his interview or press conferences because he doesn't actually say very much!

I think that with the squad we've got and the resources we have access to, most top class managers could achieve a similar success to Pellegrini; don't forget that the principle reason that Pelly was hired was due to his relative success in the Champs league rather than his domestic prowess..... fucker ;)

Who gives a fuck what he says in press conferences?! Are you a journalist? I suppose you'd prefer 'Arry to Pelle with his dynamite player-dissing press conferences, edge of the seat car window interviews and dinosaur football?

He's paid to be a football manager and win games, not be your party entertainer.

At last someone else realised !!!

Let's bring back Mario, and get rid of Sergio, he's just boring and dull.

Let's forget about playing the best football we gave ever witnessed, let's not bother with sustained success

Let's just have a fucking laugh.

Thats the worst thing I have read on this forum. Basically we want Mario Balotelli as a manager.

Is this a follow up to your "He'll be gone by the morning" post after the Newcastle defeat?
Whatever your views on him show some respect to a manager who won us the Prem title and our first ever domestic trophy double.
