Just Newcastle between us....

Aguero & Tevez vs Colocinni & Williamson

or

Ba & Cisse vs Kompany & Lescott

I know it's not that simple but all over the pitch our players are better than theirs, we have a better manager and more to gain. If we play to our potential we win this match and put one hand on the Premier League trophy.

god this is nervy..... every possibility swirling round my tiny addled brain like a sandstorm.

what if we do pull off a 1-0 or 4-3 win but scum thrash swansea by say eight, or nine?...then we beat qpr by one goal?

what if we only draw?

what if we lose?

thankfully we'll win three nil.

I think we are in danger of building newcastle in to something they arent. While im not taking anything away from their achievements and they have certainly played well if you look at their home record its just squeaking past teams that for where they are they should be beating just like spurs did, yes theyve had some notable results beating united at home 3 - 0, beating liverpool is that really a notable result anymore and bof course beating chelsea last night, but if you look at that chelsea team last night it was a massively changed team missing its first choice centre backs and with one eye on the cup final and they still relied on a couple of worldies from cisse that he probably would hit one out of a 1000 times, that second one would be lucky to hit the net one in a 10000 with no keeper in it.

So while im not knocking them and they have played some good football this year and scored some good goals lets not build them up into some leviathan that are unstoppable and lets not make ba and cisse into the greatest premiership strikers of all time if its team to team we have every chance yes they have a slight chance of fourth to play for but we have a title to play for so its hardly like we dont have the motivation and lets look at our own team and think maybe they have us to worry about not just worry about them, lets respect them but not fear them.

When we get a chance, we have to bury it. We cant be doing what we did at Wolves and keep shaving the wrong side of the post.

Because the way that Cisse is playing, he WILL score! That second one against Cheslski was amazing. A complete fluke mind, but that's what happens when a striker is in the groove.

Just bury the chances we get please.

Some people on here need to grow a pair, yeah its nervy yes newcastle are a decent side but were Not where we are by chance, they look average at the back, the key to this game will be yaya an back 4 i get the feeling the lads will be bang up for this, we should stop flappin bout the what ifs an shittin it because they beat a poor chelsea, dont forget wigan put 4 past them, think positive we can do this shit lol ;) COYB

I remember pube head being in good goal scoring form before Monday night. I also remember Norwich had beaten Liverpool and Spurs both away just before we played them.

We are top of the league for a reason. We have the best attack and best defence in the league and, as well as Newcastle have been playing, their defence has not had to deal with Tevez, Aguero, Nasri and Silva and their midfield has not had to cope with Yaya.

It will be a tough game but we can't compare that Chelsea team from last night to our team.

all comes down to bottle, we've fought too hard to go and chuck it away now.

Now more nervous than ever for Sunday, fuck me, this is going to be absolutly gut wrenching. I was feeling confident before now, but after seeing that result and hearing how well they played, I just don't know what to expect. Having said that, I would rather play this, then someone like Stoke or Everton away.

They didnt actually play that well.

Chelsea had 63% possession and 18 shots, and that was playing 4-5-1 with 5 or 6 key men rested and having an eye on other games to come.

Other than the 2 wondergoals they were average.

The pressure on Newcastle is fierce now. They have to win if they want top 4. This will make for an open game which suits us.

Chelsea had one eye on the FA cup last night, thats not to take owt away from the Toons, Losing 4-0 to wigan will still play on them.

Having watched our game against them from earlier on in the season and Wigan's demolition of them the other day they have a few holes.

Clichy/Richards played against them at our place and they tore them a new one down the wings. Their fullbacks tuck inside and we sprayed passes wide and both Richards and Clichy were able to run down the flanks and get good crosses in. Micah scored a good goal and got a penalty in that game.

Wigan did the same and spread the play quickly from the middle to down the flanks and Newcastle got torn to shreds. They don't seem to play well against teams that pass and move quickly.

I'm confident Gael + Micah/Zabba will have a lot of joy which will open up holes for Silva,Kun and Nasri to get into. Set pieces we need to be careful and also keep an eye on Ben Arfa running at our back 4. Kompany will keep Cisse quiet and Ba has been quiet of late so Joleon can keep an eye on him.
