Plain and simple for me and the kids the facup played on a Saturday we are there champs league /capital one played mid week we are not

Do you sit in the North Stand??

Why?

I'm guessing it would probably put about £100 on each ticket then probably another £50 each game we progress .afraid £300 on our 3 s,cards is a bridge to far for one wage

The Champions League is the very best competition in world football and against the very best teams. How some people on here do not want to support their team on the world stage and ''couldn't even be arsed'' about watching City challenging for the most prestigious club trophy is mind boggling.

I am obviously not talking about people who cannot afford it and with young families etc..

Everyone is welcome to their views but to say that the FA cup is bigger than the champs league is wrong, I think people are just saying that cos we haven't played well in this comp , surely people are not that daft, the champs league is huge wether we like it or not.

I remember we used to say the same things about the FA cup and the premier league before we came good, remember the song " I'd rather win the derby than the cup" but now we must aim for bigger things. Don't get me wrong I would love to win the FA cup/capital one cups , they are great comps but would rather win the champs league at this stage , but why not be greedy and win them all , be the first team to win the quadruple .

Also if you were a player no disrespect to teams like Barnsley, but witch would you look forward to more a FA cup 4th round match v Barnsley or a Champs league quarter final v Barca.

As I've said those who are against the champs league you are welcome to your views, I just don't agree with them.

Those who are going tomorrow, let's get the place rocking I'm going for 2-0 City.

Just ordered 3 tickets for me, the mrs and young gun in East Stand 308, couldn't get anywhere near my SC seat in 116. Pretty good value at £75.00 all in.

Wasn't going to bother with this one, 240 mile round trip from Leicester, plus another travel for West Ham and Monchengladbach at the end of the month etc. But, you know what? We're playing Juve, in the Champions League, with a great team, in a great stadium. I can vividly remember the feeling of complete desolation when Spuds beat us 1-0 at home to take the final Champs League spot not so many years ago. We were all gutted. Now, we get comments like "well, its only early group stage", "it's on TV", "it's a school night"..

Beggars belief really..

Completely agree how very odd what a very strange set of fans we have indeed! Don't you agree??

Back in 2009, just qualifying for the CL was like the Holy Grail. Yes, UEFA are absolute cunts but not bothering to go to CL games doesn't hurt UEFA, it only hurts City.

So how come Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern contest it most years. These are the elite teams. We will not be regarded as a top European side until we get to the latter stages.
