You need to watch him play, because he's a good player and a decent passer of the ball.Feels very much like a Rodwell and Sinclair signing.
People on here thought they were astute signings too.
I know we can't have two 'superstar' signings in every position however I thought there might have been someone out there better than Phillips.
Will be a huge drop off in quality from Rodri to Phillips.
He probably knows that he will be primarily a back up, but with 5 subs next season he will see plenty of time on the pitch.
I think it would be a great move.

If the rag's or liverpool were signing him, people on here would have an accurate assesment of him which is he's an average player, not a bad one but not a top one either.
I can see the point that it allows Rodri to be rested, I just think there might be better players out there who could do that job.

Fair enough.Fair enough… still, as good as you seem to think you are at scouting, I think I’m gonna go with Pep and his highly qualified staff! So if they think Phillips is worth a shot, then I’m happy to go with that over your opinion of him being a basic woman.
