I can see that formation being used occasionally, but i would think Cancelo and Cucarella would be the fullbacks, they give more options going forward.

Cancelo had a good 6-7 months out of 10 offensively and was still defensively dodgly

Walker is first choice RB every day of the week

I still rate Walker, but if Cucarella signs he starts and i just think that Cancelo gives us more options, especially if we do sometimes play with two DM's.

A little weird that Lilly just left as I could see us embracing a 4-2-3-1 of sorts even more than we sort of played last year. I know a lot of folks have been talking about it but it makes sense as KDB ages to free him more and more from truly playing a box to box 8 and probably foden and Grealish could both spell him at a 10
