Hahaha competition for Rodri it just gets better. In no way will having Philips make Rodri perform any better than he already is.
Good at breaking up play and keeping things ticking in the midfield. Plays best in a system with width so he can make diagonal passes.Could you explain his qualities when he is at his best?
Douglas Luiz > Romeo Lavia > Kalvin Phillips
Does it matter? Not much to talk about apart from transfers and if being honest is probably the most exciting time for United fans over the past few years. I don’t rate Phillips and said when the news of City’s interest broke that I hoped it was true as he was being strongly tipped for a move to United.Completely different subject: But what makes a fan of a club sign up for another clubs forum and post on issues not related to their club? I know there are City fans who are members on Redcafe and spend a lot of time on there. Just can’t relate to it at all.
It’ll be another false dawn like LVG and Mourinho were.Does it matter? Lavia not ready. Seems Phillips is being signed not to be a back up but to push /compete with Rodri for that starting spot. Competition makes players better

Very dramaticImo he can't pass he can't tackle no positional sense hot headed runs around like a headless chicken. IF we do sign him ( I hope to god we dont) it will be peps biggest challenge to date to make him even bench worthy for us.
