The game goes around him when it should go through him.
Probably the best summary I've read of Kalvin.
The game goes around him when it should go through him.
I would prefer both Lewis and Gomez ti start ahead of him, fortunately I suspect we'll go with Kovacic as DM as Phillips is not nearly good enoughI don't hate the lad, I don't think he's shit, but he's just not quite at the level for what we need. Not many players are, no shame in that. He wasn't terrible tonight but he wasn't great either and given what his strengths as a player are the fact he got roughed up and bullied in midfield doesn't bode especially well for him.
Rodri, Kova and Nunes all better than him, and frankly I'd increasingly have Rico in that position ahead of him too. He's a better all action box to box than a number 6, but we don't need all action box to box and even if we did Nunes looks better in that role.
No doubt it’s Rico’s fault but why is kalvin strolling instead of bursting hugs lungs once he lost his man
Why would you spend time waiting for someone else? Why don't you simply analyse the game, base your research on one player if you wish, but actually properly analyse it, tallying all passes, forward, sideways, and back. All I am asking of anyone is to give people a fair, objective analysis. Last night, within minutes, we had people counting his errors and even blaming him for a misplaced Gvardiol pass.Go on. How many forward passes were successful? I’ll wait.
