Just imagine if we end up with him and Cancelo back on the payroll and taking up squad places.
They’d be pretty much like new signings ;)Just imagine if we end up with him and Cancelo back on the payroll and taking up squad places.
Why would we want to punish another CFG side?Seems to me we should send him to Girona.
Edit - although that's probably not allowed this season with them being in the CL.
just going to say same but last time we had player do what jack appears to be doing was stevie 3 grans Ireland and was never same player after great seasonWhy would we want to punish another CFG side?
Should send him to Nice.
In all seriousness, we’ve all seen how Grealish has taken his disappointment of not being at the Euros by training as hard as he can and offering to come back early.
We’ve not seen anything from Phillips to suggest he’s doing similar, although he might still be injured, I guess.
Owen Hargreaves too!just going to say same but last time we had player do what jack appears to be doing was stevie 3 grans Ireland and was never same player after great season
did he ever start was good footballer what i remember before injuryOwen Hargreaves too!
Think he played one League Cup game.did he ever start was good footballer what i remember before injury
That’d be about £30m.Kalvin Phillips
Always comes across as a decent guy and always the first to congratulate the team …….not worked out for him, probably best to find another club, think we should just pay up his contract and let him go, these things happen
Sometimes you just bite the bullet unless Pep thinks he can get a tune out of him…….That’d be about £30m.
Or he’s sent on loan and we only have to pay £20m in the end.Sometimes you just bite the bullet unless Pep thinks he can get a tune out of him…….
I’m glad @heslops barnet isnt our CFO.Or he’s sent on loan and we only have to pay £20m in the end.
Depends on what Kalvin instructs him.His agent should be earning his money and get him a new club to try to resurrect his career. That’s what he’s paid to do, not always just our responsibility.
His agent got him a 6 year deal on mega wages that no other club is going to come close to matching. I don't think we can expect an agent to bail us out of that decision. If Kalvin wants to take a massive wage cut in order to play a few more years of football in the bottom half of the premier league or in the championship then i expect his agent will be able to find him a club. His agent should be earning his money and get him a new club to try to resurrect his career. At the end of the day, the party that stands to lose the most by him not moving on is us. And everybody knows that. Nobody is going to be bending over backwards to help us out here.
Wrexham might be able to help. Not sure any PL team would pay that next season.West Ham covered his wages last year and £140k isnt out of reach of most midtable and above PL sides
