Leadership aside, I'm not sure the difference is all that great tbh. It's not like the democrats are going to roll out free healthcare, promote world peace, and remove your rights to murder each other with guns.

Democrats: Extend free healthcare, reduce the cost of drugs.
Republicans: Junk the Affordable Care Act.
Democrats: Strengthen NATO alliance.
Republicans: Leave NATO and tell Putin to do whatever he likes in Europe.
Democrats: Ban Assault weapons, Universal background checks and red flags.
Republicans: No restrictions on A2.
Republicans: Give further tax breaks to billionaire supporters.
Democrats: Build the economy from the middle.
Republicans: Introduce further restrictions on abortion, planned families, IVF.
Democrats: Legislation to restore Roe v Wade.

Agenda depends on the “down ticket” races, but no-one is socializing medicine or changing the Constitution any time soon!! That’s quite the bar you have for “difference.”

Control of the House, Senate & White House is the trifecta…kinda like a super majority in the Commons…because you can get stuff done. But, you really need 60 (of the 100) votes in the Senate.

Sadly, the last time Dems had all 3 was for only 44 days under Obama, as Edward Kennedy got very sick and was absent. IIRC, they actually got him out of his hospital bed and wheeled him into Congress for one very important vote.
