Anyone know PSV's CB situation? I hope he gets a decent number of games to grow, I always felt his game at LB against reading was solid.

He got the number 3 shirt so if that's anything to go by then hopefully he'll be not only be starting games, but also playing in his favoured CB position.

Looking at their squad imagine he'll be cover at left-back and centre-back, at the start anyway.

They have Bruma, Marcelo, Derjick and Jorgensen already in the centre who are all more experienced, but only really Jetro Williams at left-back.

He's part of a very young defence, with goalkeeper Zoet (22), Arias (21), Bruma (21), Rekik (18) and Jetro Willems (19). He will be a starter at centre back and might even go to the World Cup 2014 if he does OK.

Wow what a performance, looks like hes played there for 10 years professionally! The only thing i would say is he needs to work on the power in his defensive headers, other than that, he's class! So comfortable on the ball too

Just watched one of those video's clips, and yes he looks the goods, but he's only 18yrs old with some growing still to do, but yes I would love to see Karim Rekik pull on the City shirt...........
