Keir Starmer

Whilst that's true in some instances, almost a complete 180 is unheard of before getting into gov!

The core of what's said, you'd expect to stay, would you not...?
I don't know the ins and outs of what he has 180d on, but if the landscape changed sufficiently, then I could accept such a turnaround

The landscape has changed so much since UKIP/ERG took over the Tory party that Labour have had adapt and will continue to until the election.

This is what he pledged to do if leader

Society and the political landscape hasn't shifted that much that he had to reverse all and go down a neo-liberal centre right route.

However he had not employed mandelson at this point as adviser so maybe he actually believed some of this stuff was gonna be enacted on.

All seem to be policies that they are still promoting.

Dont presume anything, I'm aware of his leadership campaign and he hasn't delivered his pledges because they are actions that can only be done when he is in No.10. I dont see how you can call him out on something that he hasn't had the chance to do yet. When he's in power we can bring him to account but not yet.

So you’re hoping he’s lying to the electorate to get voted in and then he’ll revert to his previous pledges? That’s not a criticism btw.

Nope. Anyroad would a moronic fool get furlough, vaccines and Ukraine right? Who did you vote for? Corbyn?
Vaccines
Ukraine
Corbyn
Bingo!!

Maybe I should have said venal rather than moronic because you’re right that he’s not a moron. He deliberately behaves like a ****.

Have to laugh at you swallowing the party line and giving him credit for vaccines like it would have been different with any other leader. It’s a shame that at the same time as furlough he didn’t take any measures at all to prevent the industrial scale fraud that happened with dodgy business loans and PPE - in no small part perpetrated by Tory donors.

And no, I didn’t vote for Corbyn but would have voted Labour if there was any chance of the Conservatives winning in my constituency and Labour were the opposition with the best chance of winning the seat.
