Keir Starmer

Oof!!

Now, when an admitted Tory can see the Tory in another leader/ party, that's saying something profound about where we're headed!
But he'll still vote for THE Tory party, even though they've gone quasi-Nazi.

How could you possibly know that? I’m not the one who would vote for a farm yard animal just because it was wearing a particular coloured rosette … can the same be said for you? Are you still a member of the Labour Party?
Yes, I'm a Labour member? I've just been out knocking on doors.

Excuse me, sir. I've got you down as T for Tory. Are you now D for Don't Know? On a score of 1 to 10 how likely are you to vote Tory?

Right now I’m not voting for anyone.

So you were out knocking doors in support of Corbyn and now doing the same in support of Starmer?

In support of a Labour government under which things can only get better.

How was it on the doorstep?

I genuinely don't know who to vote for, the truth isn't all it seems for either of the big 2. One thing I know is that I can't in all good conscience vote for the Tories, maybe like you I will just not vote.

Too much "allthesamery", and even from some NHS workers, but enough "never vote Tory again" to keep us happy for local elections. Plus the number of people who will be turned away on 4th May without photo ID will be yet more Tory-induced chaos. (We might even go back to the old days when there was a copper at every polling station.)

Best campaign line is whether things have got worse since the Tories took over. We're actually thinking of using as local campaign material a speech by a local Tory councillor, which even had his fellow Tories wincing at his attempt to prove the Nasty Party is back.
