These things might not have the power to stop the fighting on their own but they do have a cumulative affect. It tells the warring parties and the world where everyone stands and it affects the decision making process within the warring parties.Even if Parliament passed the bill, does anybody actually believe that it would have any impact on what’s going on over there?
Hamas don’t give a fuck what we say, neither does Israel, even more, the rest of the world now look at us as a basket case and shake their heads when we have anything to say.
Sunak or Starmer, nobody gives a fuck and not worth the effort thinking about what they should be saying.
It's important to voice where you stand and be seen to have been on the right side of history or otherwise when the fighting stops.
