It was also me once, then it wasn’t me. Moving on a few years the time has come for it to be ‘me’ again. Regardless of my idealogical thoughts, you can only vote for what is in front of you and for the good of the nation, that is Labour.I do admire your willingness to bat for the Labour party, that was me once. I believed they had the working class interests at heart and as much as i despise Blair, his government did some really good things. I voted recently for my Labour councillor, sadly she lost, but she was decent and i voted for Andy Burnham who if given more powers through devolution could really change our city.
I like Angela Raynor, she is a real working class girl with an amazing background, I am not a fan of Starmer, and as i live in a Tory Lib dem marginal, i will probably not vote unless TUSC , the Workers Party or the Communist party field a candidate.

Yes it is agony, I want the UK to be a Socialist country, I want a country where inequality is lessened, where people have houses to live in, where they do not go hungry and they can turn the heating on. I want a country where people have proper well paid jobs, they have proper well funded services and the NHS is run by the people for the people. I want a country that helps people who hit hard times and funds welfare properly rather than punishing the unfortunate and as a Socialist i do believe in the principle that everyone who can work should work. I want a country where essential services like power, transport, water are owned by the people for the people. I want a country that is safe for all its people, i want a properly funded police force, a properly funded border force, a proper amount of firemen, ambulance drivers, doctors, nurses and i want an education service that is world class and lets people learn for free to the day that they die. I want a country where pensioners have dignity, where peoples rights are sacrosanct.
That to me would be winning and if you do not want that then its you who in my opinion is losing.
