I find it both slovenly and disrespectful the way people routinely spell Jimmy Savile’s surname wrong.

It’s actually quite an easy surname to remember how to spell as it incorporates the word vile which seems somewhat appropriate.

Could you not lay the wreath at Stoke Mandeville or the entrance of one of the mortuaries he raised money for instead?

1972: In another example of Savile's offences listed by police, he is recorded as groping a 12-year-old boy and his two female friends who were attending a recording of Top of the Pops.

Ermm, all you have just proved was that Saville was older than Starmer. He was the head of the CPS when the CPS decided not to prosecute Saville.
