Mein Keir, they might as well have voted against

Action will be taken against Labour MPs broke whip on winter fuel change, Sky News understands

Action will be taken by those who broke the Labour whip by not backing the government's changes to the winter fuel payment, Sky News understands.
One MP - Jon Trickett - voted with the Conservative motion, while 12 additional members had unauthorised absences from the vote.
A Tory move to block the measure was defeated by 348 to 228 votes - a majority of 120 - on Tuesday night.
Labour has a working majority in the Commons of 167.
The division list showed Mr Trickett was the only rebel to support the Conservative motion, while no vote was recorded for 52 other Labour MPs.
This does not automatically equate to an abstention for each MP as they may have received permission to miss a vote.

There really aren't any Dennis Skinner types to rebel against this lot any more.

The perils of a huge majority.
Yep. Looking at the 2 contentious votes (2 child cap and WFA) there appears to be around 40/50 who don't like what they are seeing.

A much smaller majority would in theory have given this group a fair degree of bargaining power. I say theory because the majority of them are spineless cunts and would have folded like a pack of cards anyway.
