Keir Starmer

He didn’t need to take much with the contracts he gave to Infosys, the VIP covid contracts he dished out and the ‘Covid loans’ he paid to companies who subsequently went bust, some of which his wife was a shareholder in. As she was in several ‘future fund loans’ which were quickly turned into equity, prior to the company being liquidated.
Hopefully we can agree corruption is wrong, whoever is doing it.
Completely agree, corruption and cronyism should be called out whoever is doing it.

Starmer was happy enough to lecture people on the matter when he was in opposition, so I think it’s only right to expect the same standards to apply when he’s in power. Doesn’t look very promising though given his recent behaviour.

Yeah that’ll be it. Nowt to do with the fact he wasn’t PM then so wasn’t known as a **** who likes to punch down and freeze pensioners.

actually saving their lives ending doctors strikes and getting the country moving again.
pensioners that will struggle can apply for credit and get help. all is ok. we're in good hands.

The income cap for applying for credits (and thus the WFA) is £218.50 a week. The full state pension is £221.20 a week.

So how will no struggling pensioner go without help exactly?

£221.20 is, currently, the MOST you can get, with a full NI contribution record. There are tens if not hundreds of thousands who get nothing like that amount.
