My Gran used to always lament the fact (and I'm going back to the 70s here) that whatever happened in the USA invariably came to our shores too, eventually.

I just think as a society we are so fractured and we have so many things we have to deal with, that it's all going to be too much.

I've not got kids currently, but have serious reservations about having any.

They aren’t left wingers. They are mainly hard right wing I’d say. The St Georges cross features prominently in the news coverage I saw.

I imagine to them they’ll think the same of anyone that voted in favour of lockdowns or supported the vaccine. I wouldn’t spend too much time trying to apply logic to them though…
