Keir Starmer

Don't ever think that you shouldn't have kids.
My kids, your kids, everyones' kids are the future. They have the energy to change things. Make things better.
Every generation says that unfortunately they become older and more self interested. It's amazing how quickly making your way through life can piss on your morality.

Maybe that's the problem. They aren't as they should be, or as previous generations were. Unaffordable housing, delays to starting a family.

Fucked over by the self-interested in one significant previous generation.

I joke I will be made to die because I can't afford to retire.

Generations behind me will have that a guarantee.

Shame there's no party that represents my views to fight and protect them and myself from that happening.

Starmer want the rich supporting his party. Not the teacher, nurse, railwayman, builder who struggles to pay their subs but they manage it in the vein hope by being active locally they can push policies that will benefit us all should a labour government retain power.

Tories are the party of the rich. Labour want to be the party of the guardian loving middle class. The underclass can go fuck themselves.

Good, maybe we can get back to a Labour party that's useful to people.Instead of one that leaves the country in the hands of the Boris Johnsons of this world.

Its like the minority of City fans who still can’t accept Mancini isn’t manager it really is.

You guys need your own party it’s that simple because the Labour Party is never going to be your home and whilst you insist it is, the infighting will continue and it will never win an election.

Even if it's more than a minority of members that want Labour to be a far left party, the majority of the country don't want a far left government. So a smaller membership party with broad appeal amongst people who have little interest in politics makes a lot more sense than a party with mass membership that doesn't appeal to many beyond its own politically active members. Even if that betrays the original principles that the party was founded on, the membership needs to realise that the world has moved on from the highly unionised 1970s and nothing is going to push us back there. Being an ideologically pure political party isn't going to change jack shit from the opposition benches.

You want Labour to be the Tories second home, with a spare room to store your reactionary bullshit.

Whoever wants to take Labour further left needs to do so without telling anyone they are doing so.

Left wing seems to be an insult these days, let alone far left.

It needs to be done by showing the benefits of larger governmental control. It also needs to be run by a competent government.

This is where that falls down. There doesn’t seem to be anyone capable of actually running a business, let alone a country.

I want Labour in power, nothing else.

Going off the posts on this forum from quite a few, I don’t feel that the Labour Party is for them.

Momentum, it’s members and it’s hatred is every single bit as bad and as big a turn off for the majority voters as this Tory party is.
