Honda will sell us thousands upon thousands of shirts in Japan, set up new sponsorship deals, and a possible tour. He is a quality player to boot - would be a good signing on several fronts.

Abe would be lucky to play Carling Cup games. He isn't even a guaranteed starter for Leicester, that would be a truly bizarre signing.

Chelsea and Manchester City are being linked with CSKA Moscow star Keisuke Honda.

Sports Nippon says Honda's heroics for Japan at the World Cup has sparked a mad scramble amongst Europe's biggest clubs for the player's signature.

AC Milan lead the race, but Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are also keen.
