I cannot understand how a professional footballer can go from stormer to stinker in such a short space of time. Just what has happened. He seemingly can't pick a pass and he seems to have lost a lot of the 'vision' he was displaying. Total transformation from the player who people were putting in the 'world class' bracket!

I think he struggles playing deeper than he used to before. He's not really a pacey midfielder and can't really weave through players. Unfortunately KdB is limited to through passes and tight passes outside the box, not the halfway line.

I think part of his problem is that he is playing in a position that he simply hasn't quite got to grips with. It is reflected in the fact that his performances appear to range from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Gives away the ball far too cheaply for my liking and struggles to do the basics. I don't think him and Silva can play in the same team either.

He's class on his day, but just seems to be having too many off days recently, drives me nuts the amount off times he misplaces a 5 yard pass.

I`m ready for the tin hat but once again another shocking performance.
As many of us have said on BM he really should have stepped up his game,he continually gave the ball away, but his overall performance was poor.
Having said that he wasn`t by himself !!

I said it before the season. He's not really a fit in pep's side. His style of football is one far better suited where he can receive the ball and quickly orchestrate an attack. When in a possession heavy side he has to play up top as a true CAM or CF with freedom to get out wide where he can cross. Asking him to come back to his own penalty area has exhausted him and taken him out of scoring opportunities. He still provides killer balls but ball retention is far more desired in pep's 8 (see Thiago, Gundogan) Silva provides more of that and thats why he's been more successful.
