Not a chance. There's no such thing as a free role in Peps team. Each player has to stick to their position religiously.
Up to a point you're correct but as Terry Henry has said the positional discipline is only up till the final third of the pitch, after that it's a free for all. I think the quote was along the lines of "Pep will get you to the final third but it's up to the players to finish it off".

Seen some glowing reviews, but I thought he was very poor. Strolling around. Doesn't seem bothered although I am sure he isPlayed very well today.

If he's inconsistent love to see him when he is consistent - I really give up and don't really know what fans expect. Messi would last three games here...
