The only way I can see Cole coming is as a replacement for Clichy which doesn't really make a lot of sense. He won't replace Kolarov to free up a HG spot as MP and City both have a playing style that needs fullbacks who can be extremely effective going forward which sadly, neither Clichy or Cole are. He'd also probably be looking for about £50k extra every week than Clichy and is 5-6 years older.
