Khaldoons End of Season Interview

A nice balance of humility and arrogance.

The undercurrent is, "We fucking told you so!", pointing to our achievements on and off the field, that we will not be diverted from our objectives.

He's rightly bursting with pride and this Champions League win has emboldened both him and the entire Club.

Khaldoon promised to be "blunt" when the tribunal has reached its findings, which is a warning in itself to those who have contrived against us?

We could construe it however we want?

I'd be surprised if he intends to burn the house down if the decision is favourable?

If the chairman intends to light it up, an argument can also be made that he doesn't care if we are given some lame charge!
The arrogance is welcome and deserved, he has delivered everything he said.

Seemed really, really proud of the net spend figure

We might have a big summer but I'd expect it all to be balanced by outgoings after hearing that.

Yeah yeah yeah, anything on the membership scandal and the and the ticketing criteria for the CL semi!?!?
I doubt they will touch on those operational issues. It would be good to know future season ticket sales strategy and ticket price direction though, rather than rely on whispers.

For some getting to see games is a big thing I imagine. The exclusivity and premium direction of travel is a bit myopic as we don't know where will will be in 3/5 years.

So in a season when we're likely to report the highest revenue in English football history, and maybe in all history, they've hiked prices up again when there is no financial justification for doing that.

And, if the rumour on here was true, people wanting to watch us play one of the other top 6 clubs will be paying just shy of £100.

And he comes out with all this brash, confident fighting talk in these interviews yet we're quiet as a mouse the rest of the time. He mentioned that we have a small squad yet when have you ever heard our media team say that? It's left to us fans.

I sorry, but it's all bullshit. I'm grateful for what Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon have done for us and am delighted to be where we are now but please don't fucking patronise us.
I for one miss the regularity of Swales’ cosy chats with Granada reports, explaining why Mel Machin had to go and how the new one-way system introduced to the club shop was going to transform our finances.

Khaldoon and co evidently have a lot to learn.
