The key thing is that we've got an offer on the table. That in itself should cause other interested clubs to start to reveal their hands. We need to get an auction going with 2 or 3 clubs bidding up the price.

I think its sensible for the club to hold out for a sale rather than a loan. Loaning Adebayor to RM didnt do anything to resolve the situation and it doesn't look as if that problem is going to be sorted by his move to Spurs. Its likely to take Tevez 2-3 months to get back into shape and matchfit so its unlikely that he'll cover himself in glory during any loan spell.

Milan's offer looks derisory, but if we do a deal where we do not end up paying off a chunk of Tevez's contract, its inevitable that the transfer fee will be low.

City won't be paying any of Tevez's contract up.

He forfeited his claims when he submitted two transfer requests.

It has already cost him £5m in loyalty payments as a result and is also another big reason why he spat his dummy out at Bayern.

The final straw for him.

He will also be retrospectively fined at the appropriate time.

is there any recourse against snivelling **** tevez for acting in a manor designed to reduce his transfer value., which of course would increase his signing on fee

I can't tell you if that could be the case.

Only to state, Tevez can gladly go to Milan, but all on our terms, or he will be going nowhere.

why do they have a leper colony in milan

KEEP HIM! Insist he meet his contractual obligatiions and "turn up for work".

This will cup-tie the git in all competitions thereby scuppering the benefit of any loan deals. And, if he keeps going AWOL, he can be fined thereby costing City nowt in terms of wages.

It'll keep him out of the limelight for another 6 months in which time he will be older and bypassed by the younger international players coming through and nobody but a Championship promoted side like West Ham or Cardiff will want him!!! He should experience the consequences of his selfish and callous stupidity.

That's a win-win for City, the fans and a comeuppance for the tw!t and his silk suited agent!!

how this is done is the most important issue for me. It must be done in such a way to make him want to expedite his departure as quickly as possible, which should play into our hands.

Personally, I would begin to fine him two weeks wages for every week he fails to report for training in manchester. I would do it now, not retrospectively as the PFA will again stipulate that the max is 2 weeks wages per offence.

If city were feeling evil they might fine him every week as follows:

2 weeks wages, for failure to report for training
2 weeks wages, for failure to be available for selection
2 weeks wages, for failure to meet appointments with club physio
2 weeks wages, for failure to turn up for team meetings

I fucking would, he is a horrible snivelling ****.

What are the chances of him paying any fine once he's fucked off? and shouldn't we be fining him now and then again in next week when he fails to turn up.

He's going to be as fat as Maradona come January.

How do you make that out ??

I understand the circumstances are different with Mutu, but the principle he owes Chelsea cash and Tevez us respectively.
Has anything changed due to the Mutu issue (non payment of fines) yet he still plays etc etc ?. I mean do would witholding of his registration something we can consider untill it is payed ?

Yes, it is less important than getting rid of him. The fact remains he will owe us and i want it back out of principle more than anything.

Also did AC actually make an official approach for him ? some media outlets say they did, others say it was/is in the air.
