I don't think he did. Say we never had our owner take over the club and we still had average, run of the mill players playing for us and we somehow manage to make the FA cup final against Chelsea, a team full of riches and world class players. I would say it would be a nigh on certainty that people would openly want us to win that final, seeing as the likely scenario would be that we would Infact get beat.

The guy has some cheek doesn't he. He was such a poor footballer who was lucky beyond luck to get the crazy contract he did and then he bled the club dry and then has a pop at the club every week. How the fuck he got that job I will never know.
 
I grew up watching Quinn bang the goals in and want nothing but to appreciate the guy but I have noticed that (not just this season) he has some kind of anti-city agenda in all our games he commentates on! sad to say but it RAGES me so much I cannot stand the guy!! rather have that tosser alan smith cover our games than Quinn!!
except for the visit of his beloved sunderland to our place in feb , I would love to hear what he has to say when we smash em about like a cheap hooker!

He's not that bad what exactly do you want him to do? Most on here won't remember the service he gave to the club, don't think he hates us.

I'm not getting all this hysterical paranoia from some city fans just because somebody does not keep creaming themselves about how great we are, be careful because that's acting like rags....

True fame for a player comes from the fans and how they remember him over the years.

exactly , he tows the sky party line , i.e "do not go overboard about city , it will upset our armchair,plastics" , i thought quinn had more about him , i used to respect this guy as a player , top quality for us , but now he has become an irrelevance , fcku him.

He is a twat.

At half time on Wednesday I had the sound turned down. It looked like City were being slagged off, so I turned it back up to find Quinn slagging off City for how they scored the goals.

I used to like him, he was fair in how he commentated and acted as a pundit, but in last season and this season I found more and more that I could not stop from thinking he is a twat.

I'm quite happy for anyone to slag off City providing it is justified.

Yeah i'm sure i heard the nob say that Yaya's pass was a hopeful punt but then in the next breath said Alvis goal was sublime with the way he took it... very mixed up and yip he is dancing to the tune im afraid.... always was an Uwe man meself tbh:)

His penalty save against Derby was quite simply outstanding.
 
everytime i hear quinn talk about us, i can't help but think he plays reverse phsycology in front of the cameras. inside his heart he is edging us on to win the game. and also try be more neutral.

Why is it that Sky, BBC, BT Sport etc do not have any decent ex City players or managers on, Dean Ashton for WH last night and Quinn was introduced as ex Sunderland player/manager/chairman. Rarely if at all do we get ex City on. It fucking stinks and it pisses me off, we need to start some sort of campaign to put a stop to this so that there is some sort of balance. The amount of ex red dippers as pundits is a fucking joke as well.

Does anyone actually know if Quinn left on bad terms because something just doesn't sit right with him.
 
Probably comes across as petty but I thinks the club should remove him from the hall of fame. He did a job for us back in the day but his attitude towards us now in the media just mystifies me. It would probably achieve very little in the grand theme of things but would give us the fans a feeling somebody in the club has acknowledged his and other's sniping agenda and there are consequences however small.
 
If the club removed him from the hall of fame the press would be much worse with us.

We have to take it and be better than them all.

I don't really care what he says because I at the game so don't hear and if he on the telly I in the pub watching so cannot hear him.

All we should be bothered about is the team and when we win the trophies we can look at all the pundits with a smug expression
