Sort out the good from the bad. Looking at this list it appears he favoured experienced players.

Good: Seaman, James, Tarnat, Anelka, Bernabia, Berkovic, Jensen, Pearce, Schmeichel, Foe and Bosvelt

Bad: Macken, Fowler, McManaman.

You missed out Claudio Reyna. He was good.

Seaman was total pants for us, due to injuries or not he was poor and cant go in the good section

Can't believe David Sommeil's name hasn't reared it's ugly head yet!!!

he wasnt too shabby to be fair, i want to know why we always say Van Buyten was a gooden, he was shite and injured most of the time i saw him

EDIT: in fact i did some David Sommeil reseacrh and he almost died in 2008 of a heart attack poor fella

i know he would get no where near the squad now but when Pearce played him at right back in the 05-06 season he played quite well

The defence in front of him wasn't up to much. He'd been with Arsenal beforehand during their 1-0 days.

TBH, he was neither good nor bad - but I didn't want to put him in the bad section as it didn't feel warranted.

He really wasn't. Sommeil and Distin were a good partnership. It wasn't until Dunney put in a fantastic performance away to QPR in the league cup that Sommeil was shifted out to RB to accomodate Dunney back in the team.
