Kloppy

Not sure if we'll get Klopp, he probably won't come here.

Although Klopp does starkly contrast our philosophies. Under Mancini, I think we will need a £50m-£100m infusion every 12 months to compete for the title. If nothing else, to replace the expensive mistakes, older players and jaded players every season.

Saw a stat last night that Dortmund's entire starting 11 cost £30m, so less than Kolarov and Garcia. £3m more than Dzeko.

Everyone bigging up Klopp, let's not forget that Manuel Pellegrini was a few minutes and an offside goal away from knocking Dortmund out with an inferior Malaga side... By far the more realistic option too.
pellegrini is not the right choice to replace mancini hes not really won anything and would be a massive risk considering mancini's actually won the title and an fa cup, however klopp would be good choice to replace mancini if we looking to do so which i personally think we aren't.
Nobody has won anything until they win something. His performance vs money spent track record certainly suggests he'd do much better than a scraped Premiership and two Champions League group stage exits in four years at Manchester City.
And Arsenal were an away goal from knocking out the mighty Bayern.
Perhaps Wengers the man?
The premier league is won over 38 games. No team scrapes it!!!

You don't have to apologise for not thinking Mancini is the man to take us forward - you should probably apologise for coming on here, being as condescending as possible and not getting why people might come to the conclusion that you're a bit of a dick.

Erm....your turn to apologise now!
Only when I'm in the wrong.

My point is, you can't even mention another manager on here without getting slagged by the pro Mancinis. I have never and wouldn't ever slag a fellow blue for havin an opinion. Just a bit of humour. That's all.

I think Jupp Heynkes would do great things at City personally. If I was running the club I'd be trying to convince him to come.

He doesn't care about your opinion, it was your pissy toy's out the pram reply, the tone of it which is very annoying.
If you don't like the reaction to a sarky pissy comment don't make them or don't post them it is simple.

The pro Mancini's are only defending what is reasonable to defend and some find it exasperating when people go of on some fantasy football dreamland tangent.
Or if someone seems totally ungrateful for what he has done etc etc.

I am not saying you did that but i can still understand them wanting to rebuke your points.

Heynckes = high quality short-term success manager due to his age.

Klopp = dynasty builder more likely to invest himself long-term.

Supposing the club decided it was time for a change and had a straight choice, who would they take? I'd guess Klopp because there are signs Txiki wants to accelerate the youth-centered City emphasis by buying elite youngsters (Nastasic type) until the Campus is built when we'll focus more on club trained youngsters.

I've supported Bobby through (relative) thick and thin.

The question, however, is whether he has the necessary skill-set to inspire a team to produce consistently emphatic performances at the highest level, a la Dortmund and Juergen Klopp, epitomised by last night and their last two campaigns.

Is it time to discuss strategy planning for Kloppy's arrival?

Please merge in any pre-existing Kloppy thread.
please fuck off and stop bothering the people around youwith your breathing

It was pissy toys out of the pram at all. It was a bit of fun just forgot the smiley. Who was I replyin to anyway? Whatever, doesn't warrant bein called a dick. I admit it was sarcy, but it was written with a big smile on my face. If you read any of my posts, you won't see me slaggin Mancini, I'm just not a fan of his. Now do you think your mate, who doesn't care for my opinion, can bring himself to apologise for callin me a.....a word I'm not supposed to use on here? We may have stood side by side on many occasions before. Maybe even in The Parkside.

I am not saying you did that but i can still understand them wanting to rebuke your points.
