Not if you have the right plugins and set up right, its what I used for 6 months till I upgraded but once you upgrade you dont go back.

Been using firestick for last couple of years and watched free films, footy, filth and fights in fairly decent quality with minimal buffering issues.
Took the plunge and ordered a nvidia shield.
