Kolo Toure attacks City

How often do you hear rag players mouthing off to the media? The swamp (quite rightly) does not tolerate this kind of behavior.

An thats far nearer the truth because they dont pussyfoot around the media like we still do, any rerporter stepping out of line is excluded or frozen out, no comments, statements or interviews if they are attached to a negative story, Its not that rag players dont say stupid things, its just they dont get reported.

We all know the f*cking daily snail has an agender, and the MuEN are forever polishing the rag nobb.

I am not suggesting we turn into those c*nts, but it should be put to certain reporters that any more of the continual sh*te slanted stories will result in being on our shit list,

Did Kolo say these things?, I dont know, but he is an experianced player who knows how the media can twist quotes when they want to stir it, maybe he wants out, maybe he was just blowing off frustration, but I wont judge him on what the press say.

Mancini press conference: Micah Richards injury doubt, Toure denies 'discrimination' interview with So Foot magazine, club investigating
If true then I apologise unreservedly for doubting his professionalism.

-- Tue Dec 06, 2011 1:02 pm --

I do lol when I see "end of".

Look, I always liked Kolo and everything I hear is that he is a top pro and sound bloke, but he has had a major brain fart with these comments re ACON and Savic. He is meant to be an intelligent, articulate bloke and coming so fast on the heels of Tevez allied to his comments re PSG makes fans unhappy.
i love kolo!!!!!

sorry i just had to leave this here^^^^ fair enough point mate, but at the same rate i d feel for kolo reading half of the crap on this thread. so it goes both ways!

the comments are stale if accurate? this thread is an indication of the media playing our fans.

i m outta here.... end of ;)

not best pleased with you after last night, you didn't live up to expectations apparently.

She shouldn't be collecting her pay and complaining at the same time. Much like Kolo.

she didn't appreciate the half Stevie/half nedum gimp mask you were wearing.

2bh covering your face, along with the extortionate payment were 2 of the requirements for her to bother with you.

Haven't read this thread but having watched todays press conference, Mancini has just said Kolo told him that this story was going to appear and he never said anything.

Get the club lawyers on it and get these journo nobs shot down.

it's an old interview with no video evidence so the media can write what they want. Why release the story now? A whole month after the QPR game? Obviously to try and de-rail us.

and shock horror, the drama queens who support our club turn on him on the evidence of those shithouses in the media.

its like balotelligate all over again.

As i said earlier .."some on here never learn"...there are a few
so called blues looking like right knobheads.

Part of the problem is the way we have bought players and also some of Mark Hughes frankly bizarre signings. He signed some corkers, like Zabba, VK & NDJ but also some real dross like Bridge & RSC.

Some of those signings have now dropped completely off the radar as far as the 1st team are concerned. Whilst some just get on with it and are (rarely) giving interviews, e.g. RSC lately, others still seem to think they are the star signings similar to when they arrived, Kolo, Adebayor etc.

I don't think City are doing anything particularly wrong, in response to Billy, players will always drop out of favour or be replaced by better players. Where the issue is becomes when they, for some reason, think they are still the star we signed and hence the poor interviews. Kolo is now 3rd choice CB and doesn't look like he can dislodge Lescott and he's basically not happy.

Very few players give crap interviews when the team is winning all over the place and they are getting regular games.

Hughes gets far too much credit for the signing of these three considering that Sven had already earmarked them as future signings.

Kolo only has to look at his form and Lescott's when wondering why he lost his spot in the side. Lescott is 10x the player.

"Coaches no longer want to sign players because of it."

what's wrong with that? A Valid reason not to sign African players. December and January are crunch time in the Premier League.

exactly what I was thinking...if he reckons any team will make allowances for not being available for crucial games then he's a bit thick. That aside, I dont see why he thinks its a good idea to shout the odds after being monumetally stupid enough for (getting caught) taking a banned substance. As for criticising a team mate well that just smacks of arrogance. Someone needs to tell him he WOULD NOT be playing every week...no matter what his circumstances are..

Would like to see the back of him regardless if he actually made those comments or not. Lescott has bin superb and is without doubt a much better player than Toure and VK is in my opinion the best centre half in the premier league. Toure seems to think its his right to be in the starting eleven which completely baffles me. Get rid of another seemingly disruptive influence for the biggest fee we can from PSG and get someone in who wants to fight for the shirt. We can do alot better than Kolo Toure.

There is a point to the comments. Signing African players mean that you could lose them for a month or more every second year (although it is on for both 2012 and 2013).

It used to be much the same for Central American players with the Gold Cup until they moved it from January to June.

If you have the choice or a European or South American player who will be there for most if not all of the season and an African player who will be absent for a month or more every second season, who would you go for?

There are far too many calls for international duty and at some stage the clubs might end up pulling their players out. Until that happens, African players will probably suffer.

I assume that was what Kolo was saying but was taken out of context by the magazine.
