I'd be very worried if I was an Arsenal fan.Lomas has a lob on said:i was reading an arsenal forum earlier and they all seem pretty gutted about it, mind you its that thing all fans use as defence mechanism isn't it . . . . "never wanted him anyway senderos and djohrou are much better" type thing, most fans are guilty of relaying remarks similarbluesyob said:been reading an arsenal forum and not many of them seem like they will miss him very much

If he was to come, and be in the first team it would be at the expense of Onuoha, not Dunne.

Toure was part of the Arsenal defence last season that lost away to the likes of Fulham,Burnley and Stoke, lost at home to Hull and Villa and drew with Boro.
He also played against Notlob away when the Arse struggled for the last couple of seasons.
Just the type of teams we have struggled against in recent years. Is he going to improve us against the hoof it and chase teams
Any thoughts

i expect Lescott to be his partner at the back with Ned as back up, personally will be gutted to think Ned may have to settle for a place on the bench as imo Ned will be England's first choice centre half by World Cup 2014.
i just hope Ned stays and appreciates he can learn from Kolo and Lescott.

i agree totally rammy, ned must stay we just got to hope hughes and bowens man management skills are good enoughRammy Blue said:moomba said:There we go, Marvin and I agree on something.

Get in mate, finally someone else on my wavelength. Toure is a 3rd/4th choice CB, Lescott and Kompany works well. You've just echoed everything I've said over the last god knows how many pages, nice one lad.
Marvin said:You can't manage a team on the basis of what is best for Nedum Onouha's career, you do it on what is best for the club.
Onouha played plenty of games last season, and if he's good enough to take the chances he will undoubtedly get. You don't need to worry about him.
Look at Stevie Ireland this time last year. No one expected him to be at the centre of our team last season, but he was. If you work hard, and are good enough, the message is you'll get picked above reputations. Nedum has already shown everyone at City what he can do.
Rammy Blue said:fuck me that was bad, even by SSN's shite standards.
apologies for slight tangent but saw SSN 8 o'clock headlines and they wheeled out the worst set of statistics i have EVER seen in order to justify slagging our potential signing of Kolo.
then proceeded to re-iterate the problems Hughes will have in picking a side, put on screen 2 sides we can field and then to cap it all off put Carlos in our second string.
ycnfmiu.
