Not quite sure what you're saying his defence is. He's been a member on here since early July and has clocked up nearly 340 posts, so that's comfortably over 100 posts per month. Therefore he has been ''involved in the forum'' already. Presumably during that 2 and a bit months he has gained some sort of 'feel' of the forum and who the favourite players are on here. Therefore he must have known that VK is very highly rated by a large number on here. Indeed he insinuated as much with his ''Tin hat on'' comment in the opening post, yet he still went on to play down Kompany's importance to the team. What did he honestly expect the responses were going to be? Alright, some of the personal insults were OTT, but those sorts of comments are thrown around here willy nilly anyway. Check out the matchday forum after we've lost if you don't believe me! And as for him being 16; so what? To me, that's old enough for someone to realise when they're making a remark that's likely to cause offence. He has brought it all on himself although, as I have said, the personal stuff should be left out of it.

Point is he will of hardly seen any games and never been to a match.
So to me is uneducated not only in City but also probably football too.
He is only a kid who like I said will probably not come back on this forum again due to all the personal abuse and insults.
Yeh he dished a bit back but he had his back against the wall.
Kid should be educated in the game not slated and chased off the boards.

Common sense at last - there is loads of abuse on here at times. You post it, you get it - not saying I like it, but it is a risk you take if you are blinkered in your "opinion" of one of our most consistent performers.

If you thought I was having a dig at you, I apologise. That wasn't my intention. I did agree with you about the personal stuff being uncalled for. My main point was that he knew bloody well that Vinnie is one of our most popular players, and that starting the thread that he did was going to do him no favours. And also, that being ''only'' 16 is no defence for him. He was old enough to come on and post in the first place.
