WTF has he done to it??? He walked off IIRC. He wasn't even limping. I mean, do you even *need* a calf? Couldn't he just have it removed?

There's a few on the early part of this thread who seem to have had non-working parts removed

I really didn't want to be cynical but here goes. An operation to clear up the scar tissue & debris is probably one of the options but that would mean missing the Euros for Belgium so is he hanging on in the hope rest will get him to the summer.

Like everyone else I'd dearly love a fit Vinny back in the side but the longer this goes on I fear the worse.
