It most certainly is not unwarranted. He has constantly disrespected our football club.
Whatever his motivations this gesture has to be viewed as a positive thing. People give to charitable causes for all sorts of reasons, not always entirely noble, but that doesn't make the act meaningless or without merit, so fair play to him.
