I don’t know how anyone can watch that level of performance from him tonight and then say he has had a great season. If he can play at this level, why have we not seen him play even half as well as that all season? That tonight, is the level we should expect from him most weeks.

That's like saying you expect a player to score once or twice every single game. He was MOTM tonight, he's been great for most of the season and the reason why he hasn't stood out like he did today is because usually we have 70% possession against teams that are parking the bus. Hard to do a lot of defending or transporting the ball between lines when up against that.

He generally steps up in the big games, where he has to concentrate for 90 minutes. It's the easier games he tends to be sloppy in.
Thankfully our last 1-3 games won't be easy.
