Kyle Walker newspaper story

I hope he's not involved in a VAR offside decision tonight.
Imagine drawing the offside lines and trying to judge what part of his body is on or offside.

Sharing the CCTV video without permission of the individuals involved to a national newspaper or anyone other than law enforcement ( and they have to have good reason) is illegal. The bar and newspaper have broken GDPR. Why share something like this? I really can't believe the owners or manager of the club has. This has to be some idiot who works there and wants to make some quick cash. I guess they have already been sacked and Walkers lawyers have made a complaint regarding the data breach. The bar could be heavily fined. If Kyle has broken the law then CPS will review any evidence the Police collect (if they are involved) and then decide to procescute. We all have to let our hair down and need to relax. Sometimes we go to far. What we don't need is the clubs and bars we are in breaking the law.

I don’t know the law but I imagine it’s not unconnected to legal matters why they don’t actually name the bar. Or why they have the ridiculous images of a bloke with his face pixilated but named in the accompanying caption.

Whether or not you can function for work is not the only measure of whether your extracurricular activities impact your job.

It might impact in the long term but it's obviously not had much of an impact on the last 15 years of his career, otherwise we wouldn't have signed the bloke and he wouldn't have fought off the likes of Cancelo and Danilo to keep his place since he got here.

And indecent exposure is not funny, or harmless, or victimless.

Who were the victims in this instance?

One of the guys presenting for Sky every week got filmed gozzing all over a bloke and his little daughter.

This isn't going to "cripple" him.
They can. They don't always. Many factors involved. The spitter has the full backing of his former club, officials, the media and it wasn't his fault...

And do you know who's in a position to judge that? Pep Guardiola and the heirarchy at Manchester City.

And they seem to think it's not impacted his performance.

You never see a pap at the Trafford Centre because no fucker of any interest in their right mind would go there. But are you saying the bar can’t just hand over footage as that’s illegal but it’s ok to sell it?

It's private property, whether it be the Trafford Centre or inside Harvey Nicks.

The bar own the rights, don't think it matters whether payment was received or not.

The bar may have broken privacy laws if it was them, however.

Usually a disgruntled security guard who saw a chance to make a few quid.

GDPR wise the bar is responsible, even if they didn’t get paid.

You own the CCTV, you’re responsible for avoiding any privacy breaches.
