How about Mbappe & Haaland at City for the next 10 years ?
Off to where? Real will not be able to afford him with Mbappe, Bellingham, and Vinicius, Jr. there. Barca can't afford him any time soon and did anyone mention they're absolute shit?
Exactly the right term, "history"...They are Madrid, they will find a way somehow to afford all of them including Haaland.
Not saying Haaland will certainly move in the future but to suggest Madrid can't afford all of them is not really seeing their history.
They’ll still go for Haaland. Galactico bollocks and all that. I hope not but I reckon he’ll go eventually
Tbf, we haven’t had too many players whom Real Madrid probably wanted! Barca, maybe!
That said, the lure of being in a perennial 2 horse race, living the high life in the sun, and keeping the Mrs happy are all ridiculously strong draws.
Yes, Pep is here now, but his contract is up in 1 year and unless he re-ups for another 1-2-3 yrs, City will not be the draw they are right now IF Real & Barca are seriously interested in a player.
The British weather, esp up north, the limited places to live, and even the lure of London are all impediments for some players.
Manchester is an acquired taste. Many top, top players simply would not want to acquire it, IF Paris, London, Madrid, Barcelona, and possibly even Munich are an integral part of the decision process.
I’d take Manchester 100 times out of 100 over fucking Chicago.Tbf, we haven’t had too many players whom Real Madrid probably wanted! Barca, maybe!
