"Sounds like" not necessarily what actually happened though.

Vinicius was tripped for the penalty. The defender kicked him as he went to kick the ball. 100% penalty.

The goal Real Sociedad had ruled out for offside was harsh, but Merino had to jump out of the way of the shot, so it would be fair to say he was in the keepers view, and was offside whilst doing it.

Benzema scored a third after it had hit the top of his shoulder. Think the rules are a bit vague on where your arm begins, but that was not a handball in my opinion.

Just looked at the Barca team that drew tonight as well as their bench. I know they’ve got a few out injured but they are going to have such a dramatic decline when Messi is finished. All their best players are over 30, the players they’ve brought in for big money have spectacularly flopped for the most part and their kids don’t appear to be of the quality we are used to seeing from them.

Suarez, busquets, rakitic, Vidal, pique and Alba all have a very limited shelf life left and It’s reported they’ve got huge money issues that’s going to prevent them from replacing those players. Messi will carry them for the next few seasons still but once he’s gone are we looking at a man united level of decline here?

Yes, a huge decline. To make things worse they are apparently swapping Arthur how is 23 for Pjanic who is 30 and not better than Arthur, baffling really.
