An election will be called.
Article 50 won,t be invoked by the new prime minster as referendum 2 will have taken place, possibly on the same ballot paper.

I will give Corbyn one thing he's a stubborn bugger, My party is in a mess and tbf I blame the lot of them, but mainly the quitters who have missed the opportunity to hammer the tories and possibly set labour on a different route completely, and you know something if they could have behaved from the start I expect corbyn would have gone within his term anyway to pave the way for an electable leader, but instead they brought out his petulant side.

You really have it right there. The Labour members just seen to be so myopic and completely brainwashed about this Guy. I have two friends in their early 50s, worked for the DSS, one lives in Chorlton one wishes she did and their Facebook page is full of banners, memes etc about how wonderful Corbyn is, they even have that annoying habit of referring to him solely as Jeremy like they are close personal friends, they paid their £3 and have been incredibly OTT about the whole thing, the racist label attached to all the outers, the whole ashamed to be English routine and how 'Jeremy' is so compassionate and caring etc, personally speaking I think he is an arrogant dogmatic cretin who is beyond useless and the worst leader of the opposition ever, he makes IDS and William Hague look inspirational. The irony of it all is re their dyed in the wool new out in the open socialist ideals is they shop at Waitrose, won't set foot in pubs like Wetherspoons and love the Souless £4 a pint bars, they wouldn't be seen dead in the presence of the 'great unwashed'.

The problem is, I wish I wasn't, although no Labour voter, they are the only party to offer a credible opposition, with this bloke in charge they have no chance of getting anywhere near the Tories, and strong opposition means better governance all round. The folk you speak of are the ones holding Labour back, they have forever screamed about not being 'Tory Lite' whilst again ignoring the painful truth that that is exactly what they have to be; this country IMO is ever so slightly centre-right, but acknowledges and accepts the centre- left if the others start to go too far. With an intransigent hard left throwback like Corbyn as leader, although it gives great joy to many on the left, it does not result in power, which is the ultimate aim.

Corbyn should have removed the Blairites earlier as now we see the usual labour party attack on the wrong people again, in order to get elected and ‘appear’credible. Why is it that the only people who haven’t learnt from Brexit are the Blairites?? The Blairites are a cancer in the labour party and the wider media and if they do eventually overthrow Corbyn then that definitely will be the end. Meanwhile, yet again, a weak and broken tory party just carries on and reconsolidates because it was ‘born to rule’.

I think it's more likely that the quitters are anticipating a general election sooner rather than later, and with Corbyn in charge Labour will have no chance of winning it. So it's worth a bit of short term chaos if they can get a credible leader in place in time for an election early next year. If they can't get rid of him I can see a breakaway party forming with the majority of the PLP jumping ship.

Actually it's the Corbynites that are the cancer in the Labour party. Due to Ed's rule change it's allowed all the far left activists to join up for £3 and take control which is steering the party's policies in the opposite direction to those which the majority of its traditional support would vote for.
