Last Film You Saw

Yes, the 4 different batman series, with the third cat woman, second riddler and penguin. Probably in the sequel we will get a forth(fifth?) Joker too

Still no Jason Todd, no Tim Drake, etc..

But, they are moving into the next 'Bat Family' phases, via the 'multiverse' as 'The Batman' has been done to death now. I believe Matt Reeves is the beginning of the end for 'The Batman'.

After he's done what he's done, there won't be a return unless as an old mentor.

"Cop Shop"

I believe someone wrote that it was 'crap' and I went into watching this film with that preconceived notion. I'm pretty glad I watched it anyway.

Sure, it struggles here and there with which direction it wants to go, but I think that was supposed to be strategically done to throw you off the scent.

Once you get past the 'up its own arse' presentation, it becomes wonderfully and tongue-firmly-in-cheek stuff. There's mash up for different film influences as well as genres thrown into the mix. Hats off to Alexis Louder as she holds her own as co-lead.

I thought the humour was spot on in this film.

Highly enjoyable for me!

Where in the hell did you get that notion?!

This is not a Venom 2 situation which wanted to be part of the MCU. Actually it is the opposite of that, Matt Reeves CHOOSE to do a standalone movie seperate from the DCEU. Clearly if it successful and well received it will get a sequel and no, it will not be a multiverse and it will not feature Joaquin Phoenix.

Or will they bring in Phoenix to play Joker as The Batman seems to be very dark
Highly doubt it, to me that movie was more inspired by Heath Ledgers joker than the overall Batman mythos. That was a standalone movie but because they are were so successful of course the studio wants a sequel.

However I kinda hope you are right. If there was a nod to Joaquin in this movie it would bring the house down

For 'multiverse' see 'else world', which is, effectively, the same thing.
