Last Film You Saw

Well I haven't seen Interstellar but I didn't finish Whiplash - the 'not my tempo' bit was too uncomfortable and didn't really ring true. I listen to music like that sometimes, I often think I can tell in a second or two what's right or wrong, but in practice tempo just doesn't settle down that quickly, it's something the player has to find over a bar or two. Maybe he was just fucking with the kid but I didn't want to watch that movie. Also, the sound mixing was stupid, everything went through the centre channel when it was a glorious opportunity to put us right in the middle of a band, surrounded by energy.
Fair point.

Wild Card - Typical Statham fayre to an extent but the film was pretty well laid out beyond the ass kicking.
It did not go to deep mind you but better than some of his dross. Pacing was a bit out though, as ending seemed a bit abrupt.

Gone Girl. 7.5/10
I enjoyed it. Bit farfetched at times but I didn’t get bored and would def recommend. Rosmund Pike was good playing the psycho woman (or just a normal woman as I’d put it) and that bird from the blurred lines video gets her tits out mid way through which was nice.

Unbroken. 6/10
Its ok. True story which I always like but he got twatted that much throughout the film it actually got boring and I stopped feeling sorry for him and just wanted him to die. Its like 3 films rolled into one.

The Equaliser. 5/10
Not my type of film. Some people may like this but never been a fan of those cheesy scenes where one guy can be able to knock out about 10 guys at once. Similar to Taken. Old man who twats everyone.

American Snipe 6/10
It was watchable. Nothing not seen before though. Still shocked that Bradley Cooper was in a film without Jenifer Lawrence.

The Gambler 5.5/10
Average again. Story was ok. Nothing memorable in the film but it kept me interested to the end. Just.

Fury 7/10
I wasnt expecting much but this was actually alright. Story was good. Realistic battle scenes and the film in general was entertaining from start to finish.

So your least favourite was the Equaliser because you aren't a fan of films where one guy can take out ten. But your second favourite is Fury where 4 guys in a broken down tank take out half the SS

Hmmm yes. I can see your point.
Guns and grenades though... They are good when it comes to killing.
Denzel doing roundhouse kicks and a slap or 2 to a room full of armed Russian Mafia doesn’t do it for me. Plus hes 60 years old.

Pride - 8/10

Great cast, excellent script and some brilliant performances.... I didn't know what to expect, to be fair it's what makes the film so enjoyable, the message within it is one and the same!!!
