Goldfinger......I first saw it at the flicks in 1965, and is the joint best Bond film I've seen along with From Russia With Love.

Sean Connery was the best Bond imo.

It's not bad, granted. That crash scene is pretty wow. And Penelope Cruz is always a pleasant distraction!

Watched Mississippi Burning last night. Seen it before, still absolutely outstanding.

A complete unknown the Bob Dylan story! Enjoyed it and interesting regarding his character it was shame they didn't start when he was born and look how he was brought up, I never liked his music his voice but some of the songs he wrote were pretty good for that time!

Kept engrossed absorbed the whole movie which it rare for me 8.5/10

Midnight Express (1977). Very good violent film, directed by Alan Parker, and a searing indictment on the Turkish prison system. Caused a great furore at the time promoting strong anti-Turk propaganda. Hollywood is always wary of homosexuality and drug use portrayed on screen and there's plenty of that. Great performance from John Hurt as a druggy prisoner who'd given up hope of release. One good thing though - it's a cautionary warning to those who dabble in drugs abroad

Great film, proper storyline, believable characters.
One that's slightly under the radar, but definitely worth a watch.
