Laurence Fox launches political party

Why do people who make accusations of racism never say who and what exactly that person has said?

It’s shouting fire without actually pointing to the flames.
As to the who, Lawrence Fox, obviously, given it's his thread. As to what he's said, it's the regurgitating every cowardly racists talking points that dance around literally saying something specifically racist that can be used to label them a racist.

At this point its like you are playing Lawrence fox bingo.

Oh when will someone finally speak up against those terrorist attacks that were met with absolutely universal condemnation world wide!!
At this point it’s like you’re playing social justice warrior bingo... see I can make a cheap point too.

Yeah it was in the news and people went “oh how awful”, then carried on the next week as if nothing had happened.

Lawrence Fox has been called a racist for saying he doesn’t think Britain in 2020 is a racist country.

He’s a moron yes, his political aims will fail and he’ll get zero seats because he doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing (his NHS and hugging post gives that away) but he’s not said or done anything racist.

In 2020 if you don’t agree that everything is racist and you dare to say “actually no, I don’t think that is”, then you too are labelled as one.

It’s illiberal.

It is amazing how many people go pink in the face getting angry at Lawrence Fox all because he said that he doesn't think something is racist.

He's been called a racist because he' parrots all the talking points of racists, just like all the others who have played this routine before him and all those who will do it after him. Dancing around saying or doing something explicitly racist doesn't change that, just like how it doesn't when people try and claim Tommy Robinson isn't a racist, or various others who do this dog whistle routine where they play to racists, nudge and wink at them while trying to stay juuuuust on the right side of the line so they can act offended when people call them racist. They play this game as long as they can, to grift and make money off the other racists who are delighted a new champion has emerged to "say what we're really thinking", until they end up having to push further and further over the line to stay relevant, burning too many bridges so even the shittier TV shows and radio shows won't have them on and end up like Katie Hopkins or that Milo guy, touring eastern europe giving paid talks to the far right dickheads who will still have them.

It's a tired and boring act that I have no idea why people bother tying to defend.

So what has he said?

You just lump all those in together without a moments hesitation. There is such a big problem at the moment with this.

You’ve got a “racists I don’t like” bin and you’ll throw everyone who disagrees with you in there.

Hopkins is a racist, I can tell you specifically what she’s said that makes me think this.

Robinson is a racist, I can tell you exactly what he’s said to make me think that.

Milo I don’t know, I’ve not seen much of him but I did read he had a black partner if that counts for anything, I don’t know but he’d be a weird racist if he was.

Now Fox, what’s the worst thing he’s said that makes you think he’s “dancing around it”?

You see I am confident of the first two, I know what they’ve said/done and why I think it, if you need me to tell you, I can.

What I wouldn’t do is form an opinion and throw someone into the deplorables bag, if I didn’t have concrete evidence of them behaving in that way.

Can you give me any quote? Any action?

The same people who said Bernado wasn’t for his cartoon as well, surely you’re not allowed to give an opinion that it isn’t?

I think he just upset a lot of people who've seen and endured racism in this country when he told a black woman on public TV that bringing up racism was "boring" and then, when the woman said he might not be best placed to recognise racism, given his background, told her that she was the racist.

Or when he got all red in the face and screamed about how outrageous and disgustingly politically correct it was to have a Sikh actor in 1917, because the version of history he got taught didn't allow for non white people in the British army during WW1 (despite the fact Sikh soldiers did serve shoulder to shoulder with white soldiers). At that point some people thought, "that's odd, that bloke who refused to consider racism might exist is bringing up race again".

Or when he demanded everyone boycott Sainsbury's for celebrating black history month.

It's also amazing how despite the fact Fox actually apologised and explained he's too uneducated, stupid and unable to express what he means, he's now decided that it should be his full time job. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the £50m funding someone shoved at him to start a political party.
